An apartment fire in Jacksonville, FL early Friday morning, may 1, 2020, tragically claimed the life of one person.

As reported by FirstCoastNews.com, “the incident happened at Heritage on the River apartments in the 4300 block of Confederate Point Road around 1:30 a.m.”

News4Jax.com is reporting, “[w]hen firefighters arrived, they found one unit on fire with the 22-year-old man still inside. Paramedics rushed the man to the hospital, where he died.”

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
