One boy was injured after a shooting at a Houston, TX apartment complex Wednesday evening, March 27, 2024.
As reported by CW39.com, “a group of kids were fighting at 8 p.m. Wednesday outside the apartment complex on the 12000 block of Tidwell Road…when someone started shooting.”
According to the report, “[d]eputies say a large group of 20 to 30 people appeared to have been fighting in the parking lot of the leasing office just before the shooting…One of the people in the fight pulled out a gun and began firing.”
Click2Houston.com is reporting, “[a] 10-year-old boy was shot in the back…The little boy remains in critical condition.”
According to ABC13.com, “[t]his isn’t the first shooting involving a child at that same apartment complex. [a boy] was shot and killed a little more than two years ago. Police said he was getting a jacket out of a car when he was killed.”
The investigation is ongoing.
