As reported by Patch.com, “[p]olice received a report at about 12:20 a.m. of a shooting outside the Burlingame Embassy Suites hotel at 150 Anza Blvd. When officers arrived, they discovered two victims with gunshot wounds.” The news story indicates that the incident may have occurred in the “hotel parking lot.”

KTVU.com is reporting, “a third gunshot victim was later found to have transported themself to another local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.”

According to the report, “there was a dispute between attendees of a party being held inside the hotel. Burlingame police believe the shooting is related to the dispute.”

A man was shot and killed at a Memphis, TN motel early Tuesday morning, December 8, 2020.

As reported by WREG.com, “a man was gunned down in the parking lot of America’s Best Value Inn on Sycamore View around midnight.”

According to the report, “[t]he manager of the motel told WREG…they believe a motel guest went to the convenient store next door to get something to eat and was followed back to the motel by one or two people. It appears the victim was shot during a robbery or attempted robbery.”

LOCAL NEWS

A young man was shot at a Ashland, OR hotel early Monday morning, November 23, 2020.

As reported by FlashAlert.net, “[o]n November 23, 2020 at approximately 4:20 a.m. officers from the Ashland Police Department, assisted by the Phoenix Police Department, responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of the Stratford Inn, 555 Siskiyou BL.”

KTVL.com is reporting, “[w]hen [officers] arrived at the scene, authorities found the victim deceased, having suffered a single gunshot wound to his chest.”

According to KDRV.com, “[t]he investigation indicates that [the suspect] and the victim, who did not know each other, were engaged in an argument in the parking lot when [the suspect] pulled a gun from his coat and fired a single shot, striking the victim in the chest…the victim was 19 years old.”

The suspect was arrested on scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

A man was killed and another man was injured after a shooting at a Columbus, OH motel early Monday morning, November 16, 2020.

As reported by ABC6onyourside.com, “[t]he shooting happened at [an] Inn on Clara Street near the Ohio State fairgrounds.”

According to the report, “Galat Hussen Dahir, 20, died around 4:30 a.m. after being rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. Galat Asbdisaid Dahir, 24, was treated and released from Wexner Medical Center.”

A suspect has been identified but has not been arrested.

The investigation is ongoing.
