As reported by ReviewJournal.com, “[o]fficers were called to Durango Drive and Desert Inn Road just before 5:30 p.m. after police said a driver sped through a red light and hit another moving car.”

According to the report, “[f]our people were killed and two were critically burned…[s]even cars were damaged in total.”

Fox5Vegas.com is reporting, “a speeding car hit another from behind, forcing it into the intersection. Three cars that were pushed together burst into flames. The driver of the speeding car died…[t]hree people in the car they hit died, including a child. Bystanders rescued two other people involved in the crash, including another child.”

A motor vehicle accident involving two cars early Friday morning, December 13, 2019 left two people dead.

As reported by ReviewJournal.com, “[t]he crash occurred about 3 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Pecos Road near East Lake Mead Boulevard.”

According to the report, “a 2012 Dodge Charger driven by a 26-year-old Las Vegas man was headed north on Pecos “at a high rate of speed” when it struck the rear of a northbound pickup. The Charger then struck a large light pole and caught fire.”

KTNV.com is reporting, “b]oth male and female occupants were burned and died at the on scene.”

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

According to the report, “the woman and another pedestrian were running north across Desert Inn Road…[a] 2001 Volkswagen Passat was heading west on Desert Inn and hit the woman after swerving to miss the other pedestrian.”

The pedestrian was taken to Sunrise Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries according to the media report.
