One woman was shot at an Oklahoma City, OK motel early Monday morning, March 4, 2024.
As reported by Newson6.com, “officers responded to a reported shooting at a [motel] near Northeast 23rd Street and North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.”
KOCO.com is reporting, “Cherri Brooks, 36, was at the [a local motel]…when someone came into her room. The two got into an altercation, during which Brooks was shot in the stomach and chest.”
According to the report, “[Cherri Brooks] was taken to an area hospital and underwent surgery. Police later [reported] that she died.”
Newson6.com is reporting, “Edmond Police Department took two suspects into custody.”
The investigation is ongoing.
