Myrtle Creek, OR – Gunfire rang out at an RV Park Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2024, leaving one man dead.

As reported by KPIC.com, “[a]round 1:35 p.m., deputies responded to the area of the RV park at 333 Ruckles Drive after receiving information about a physical disturbance and shooting.”

KEZI.com is reporting, “[d]eputies said they arrived to find a Damion Sumner, 29, of Dillard, just south of the park on Booth Ranch Road. Sumner had been shot multiple times, and despite efforts from responding authorities, he succumbed to his wounds and was declared deceased at the scene.”

The investigation is ongoing.
