Gunfire erupted Sunday night, Nov 19, 2023 at an Indianapolis, IN gas station leaving two people dead.

As reported by WRTV.com, “Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to [a gas station] located at W. 29^th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street on reports of a person shot at 11 p.m.”

According to the report, “[u]pon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot injuries. The first victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was originally reported to be in critical condition, but later died.”

WTHR.com is reporting, “[o]n Monday, Nov. 20, the Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as 25-year-old Rosalba G. Torres Arceo and man as 22-year-old David Lee Swanigan.”

The shooting investigation is ongoing.
