A motor vehicle accident injured a pedestrian Wednesday night, August 21, 2019.
As reported by Fox5Vegas.com, “[o]fficers were called to the area of West Desert Inn Road and Canyon Lake Drive, near South Fort Apache Road, about 10 p.m.”
According to the report, “[t]he pedestrian, identified by police as 63-year-old Kenneth Toll, was walking across Desert Inn when the driver of a 2016 Kia Optima was headed west on D.I. and struck [Mr.] Toll”
The victim was taken to a hospital where he remained in critical condition as of 8 a.m. Thursday, reports ReviewJournal.com.
According to the report, the driver of the Kia “was arrested on one count of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm.”
The investigation is ongoing.
