A motor vehicle accident early Wednesday morning, June 24, 2020, claimed the life of one person and left two others injured.
As reported by 8NewsNow.com, “[t]he crash happened on Durango Drive and Patrick Lane around 12:29 a.m.”
According to the report, “the man who died in the crash was traveling in a Honda southbound on Durango when his car entered a different lane striking the right side of a Volkswagen Jetta causing both cars to to leave the road and hit a brick wall.”
ReviewJournal.com is reporting, “[t]he Volkswagen rolled over and hit the top of the Honda and its driver…[t]he cars came to a stop with the Volkswagen upside down on the Honda’s roof.”
Per the report, “[t]he man driving the Honda died at the scene. The 18-year-old man driving the Volkswagen suffered minor injuries, while a 17-year-old girl in the car suffered moderate injuries.”
The investigation is ongoing.
