A motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle Tuesday morning, April 14, 2020, caused fatal injuries a week after the accident.
As reported by New3LV.com, “[t]he crash was reported just before 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at Warm Springs and Cimarron roads…a 2017 Yamaha YZF-R3 was heading west on Warm Springs approaching Cimarron when it hit a 2012 Hyundai Sonata that was turning left into its path.”
According to the report, “[t]he rider of the Yamaha, identified by police as 22-year-old Demetrious Murphy, was taken to St. Rose Dominican San Martin Hospital for treatment. LVMPD says it’s fatal detail team learned Tuesday, April 21, that Murphy died from his injuries.”
The investigation is ongoing.
