Las Vegas, NV- A motor vehicle/pedestrian accident Saturday night, March 28, 2025, tragically claimed the life of a Las Vegas man.
As reported by Fox5Vegas.com, “[t]he incident occurred on March. 29 just before 8 p.m. in the area of McLeod Drive at Pecos. A vehicle hit a pedestrian and fled the scene.”
New3LV.com reports that “the pedestrian, identified as Glenn Abbott of Las Vegas, was using a personal mobility device and was in an uncontrolled marked crosswalk when an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound on McLeod Drive failed to yield the right of way. The vehicle struck Abbott, pushing him across the intersection toward the northeast corner.”
According to the report, “Abbott was transported by ground ambulance to Sunrise Hospital, where he was [unable to survive his injuries] despite advanced medical intervention.”
