An argument outside the Austin Homes apartment complex reportedly escalated into gunfire Sunday, July 23, 2017, critically injuring 34-year-old Herman Bailey, Sr.
According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, the shooting occurred “in a parking lot at Austin Homes about 1 a.m.” The Daily Times reports, “40 to 50 people were gathered” in the parking lot when an argument erupted into violence. Mr. Bailey was transported to Fort Sanders Medical Center with “life-threatening” injuries. His current condition has not been released.
