A shooting outside a Lakeland Chevron gas station reportedly claimed the life of 39-year-old Andrea Dixon and left 34-year-old Johnetha Ragins injured Saturday, October 15, 2016.
According to WFTV 9, the drive-by shooting occurred outside a Chevron station, where several people had gathered following a dispute at a local nightclub. Witnesses apparently told WFTV 9 News that “the crowd at the Chevron station had spilled over from the earlier fights at Rumors [nightclub] and that the shots fired into the crowd came from a passing vehicle.”
Ms. Dixon and Ms. Ragins were reportedly transported to the hospital, where Ms. Dixon succumbed to fatal injuries. Ms. Ragins’ current condition has not been released.
