Gunfire rang out at an Aurora, CO nightclub early Saturday morning, August 10, 2024, leaving one person dead and one other injured.
As reported by Denver7.com, “[a]round 1:45 a.m., Aurora police were called to a shooting outside the Las Adelitas Night Club on E. Colfax Avenue near Lima Street.”
KDVR.com is reporting, “[o]fficers found a gunshot victim in the parking lot. Lifesaving measures were attempted but they were declared dead on the scene.”
According to the report, “[a] second victim, a 34-year-old man, took himself to the hospital to be treated for multiple gunshot wounds. He is expected to survive.”
The shooting remains under investigation.
