One man is dead after a shooting at a Shreveport, LA apartment complex early Thursday morning, February 15, 2024.

As reported by KSLA.com, “[o]n Feb. 15 at 3:40 a.m., the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a shooting in the 4300 block of Lakeshore Drive. When officers arrived, they discovered [a victim] who had been struck multiple times by gunfire inside an apartment.”

KTBS.com is reporting, “[t]he Caddo Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Jtorryon Williams, 20.”

According to the report, “[t]he shooting took place in the parking lot of the [Apartments]. Police said Williams was able to go back inside an apartment and call police after he was shot.”

The investigation is ongoing.

One infant is dead and a man was injured after a shooting at a Shreveport, LA apartment complex early Sunday morning, February 11, 2024.

As reported by KNOE.com, “[i]t was 3:48 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 11) when Shreveport police responded to reports of gunfire at [apartments] on East Stoner Avenue in the city’s Stoner Hill neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an apartment in Building 12 had been shot several times while it was occupied by a man, a woman and [a 1-year-old] who were sleeping.”

According to the report, “[t]he man and boy both received gunshot wounds. The child was struck in the head by a bullet and was pronounced dead on the scene, the coroner’s office reports. The man was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.”

According to the report, “Kendrick was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where he later died.”

As reported by KSLA.com, the shooting happened “in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 4500 block of North Market Street.”

KTBS.com is reporting, “Desmond Jackson, 36, was standing next to a vehicle in the parking lot…when he was shot numerous times. Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene.”

Per the report, “Deveuntae Patterson, 21, a passenger in the vehicle, also was struck by gunfire and died at the scene.”
