One man is dead after a shooting at a Spartanburg, SC apartment complex Tuesday night, Aug 22, 2023.
As reported by FoxCarolina.com, “[d]eputies said they were called to 1200 College Pointe Lane around 9 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies found a man dead on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head.”
According to the report, “[t]he Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 21-year-old Tyquirez Rashad Sims.”
WSPA.com is reporting, “[the suspect] took Sims’ phone and gun, refused to give them back and later shot him in the head as he walked away.”
The investigation is ongoing.
