One woman is dead and a man was injured after a shooting at a Phoenix, AZ apartment complex late Sunday night, April 24, 2022.
As reported by AZcentral.com, “[a] woman died after a barrage of gunfire rang out at an apartment complex in west Phoenix late Sunday night.”
AZFamily.com is reporting, “multiple gunshots were reported around 11:15 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Tuckey Lane, south of Glendale Avenue. When officers arrived on that scene, they found 43-year-old Tokeita Johnson and an unidentified man; both had been shot.”
According to 12News.com, “Phoenix Fire Department personnel pronounced [Tokeita] Johnson dead at the scene. The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
The investigation is ongoing.
