Gunfire rang out at a Louisville, KY Restaurant and Lounge early Sunday morning, Aug 27, 2023, leaving two people dead and four other people injured.
As reported by Wave3.com, “around 3 a.m., LMPD received several calls reporting multiple people shot at [a restaurant and lounge] at 301 West Market Street.”
According to the report, “[o]fficers arrived and found one man dead. WAVE News spoke to the mother of the victim, who identified him as 37-year-old Terrance Bethel.”
Kentucky.com is reporting, “[a] second victim died later on Sunday at the hospital.” Per the report, “[f]our gunshot victims had non-life-threatening injuries and were recovering as of Sunday afternoon. These victims are three women and one man.”
The investigation is ongoing.
